FUE Beard Transplant and Mustache Transplant
Micro FUE method similar to hair transplantation is applied in beard transplantation. Hair follicles are taken one by one from the hairy area between the two ears at the back of the head and planted in the area where there is no beard. In the operation performed under local anesthesia, no serious pain or ache is observed, and there are no scars or sutures in the post-operative period.
Stages of Beard Transplant and Mustache Transplant
Consultation: The transplantation process starts with a doctor’s examination, as in all other transplantation operations. Two important points are taken into account during this examination. Firstly, the need for the area where transplantation is desired is determined, and secondly, how many grafts can be taken from the donor area is evaluated.
Operation: During the operation, transplantation is carried out by taking into account the growth direction of the beard. The operation consists of two main parts. First, the roots are taken from the donor area and then the hair follicles are transplanted to the needed area.
Dressing: During is applied the day after the operation. Before leaving the clinic, it will be shown what should be considered after transplantation and how to do the washing process.
Result and Recovery: After a week, the planted area regains its natural appearance, and it takes 10 days for the transplanted area to heal and regain its previous appearance. After beard and mustache transplantation, it is possible to follow the post-hair transplantation instructions. After six months, the transplanted beard or mustache begins to reach the expected result, and the final result is seen within 12-18 months.
